"Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms...

"Nice room, clean spacious. Beautiful ocean view rooms. Staff needs help and training. Restaurant service is slow and food servicable. Staff does not taken ownership of their responsibilities and the little things go unattended to. Close to the cruise. Be aware of the taxes 10%, plus 18% VAT tax. "

"Staff support was great! Elio Jean (Mgr) tried his best to help us. However, the hotel is terrible! The bathroom was falling apart, plumbing in disrepair, no shower curtain, only 2 bath towels (no hand or face towels) and only a chunk of soap. Ceiling light was hanging down by the wires. The WiFi did not extend to our room. There were dogs barking all night and then a rooster beginning at 5AM. The neighbourhood was noisy and seemed unsafe. Difficulty finding breakfast without walking for...

"We arrived at the apartment and it was just as the picture's it had everything we needed..Vlad is an amazing host...he goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need...he even arranged our transportation needs...Dorian was our driver he also went out if his way...took us grocery shopping...very happy indeed. "

"We stayed at a studio. It is roomy for two people. Air conditioner works even though you do not need it most of the time (in March). The staff is nice and friendly. Host is very responsive. Beach is across the street. The ocean is shallow which is good for children. There are restaurants and small shops nearby."

A few minutes away from the charming town Altos de Chavon and a few extra minutes to get to Minitas beach. All in, an amazing first experience at CDC for my family! "
