"Nice clean simple motel"

"Nice, welcoming, cozy and clean. It’s been well maintained. Only complaint is I wasn’t told of the $30 pet fee at booking. My kids loved the pool. Spa had been shut down and we were not told of that ahead of time either but they had it up and going again while we were there. Because of the pet fee, I felt it was overpriced for what we got. I would recommend staying here but be aware of the above items so you can be prepared."

"Coffee was good. Breakfast left a lot to be desired, even by Continental breakfast standards. Breakfast was served between 6 & 9am. We came down at 8am, and there was one ziplock package of bread for toast, no muffins or Danish. There was corn flakes and Froot Loops, but really no other options. "My book club (all 50) rented Grandpa's Pool House and had a ball. We did all things 70s and the house was a great fit for our tator tot hotdish meals, shrinky dink crafts and Sloe Gin Fizz drinks. We had a couple hiccups with our stay, and the host and property manager responded immediately and made everything right. "
