"We stayed for one night as a family of 4 in the last week of July. The hotel was clean, and maintained to an acceptable standard but rooms were a little dated, but air conditioning was good. The quadruple room would benefit from a fridge, and from bigger pillows as we found one small square pillow was insufficient. "This would have been a 5-star review except for one thing. Their internet is awful. To say it's spotty would be a complement. When it does connect, it frequently drops in and out requiring near constant sign-ins. This is not good for travelers who rely on the web for travel info. It forces you to choose roaming on your phone which can be very expensive. Nice room, great location and restaurant. Too bad about the internet issues."

"When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist was nice and polite but tried to charge us a higher price than what was confirmed at the time of the booking. When I showed him the confirmation email with the right price he said that the room category we had booked was fully booked and that "someone" had upgraded us to a bigger room.
