"I found the resort to be all that you might want in a tropical vacation stay. The facilities were wonderful and staff was great. Only problem I had was getting the in room coffee maker to work right! Otherwise the location was great and there was plenty to do in the local area."

"This is the best hotel that we have stayed at. The amenities, staff, rooms, the spa, the adult pool, the food, the beach…all 5 stars! Swam with manta rays and did the longest running luau that was well done. Have been coming here since the 80’s and it only keeps getting better. We love the Mauna Kea and the Big Island of Hawaii."
