"Check in was difficult with no internet on the property and no one at the motel office or available anywhere when we arrived at 4 pm. We later found the code for our room from the owners by driving for an internet connection in a nearby town. We were intimidated to return to the motel with no one there but did so and successfully accessed our room. The room was nicely appointed but we would have much preferred a welcome in person. "For the price, I thought they could put some plates, cutlery, etc. in the room. The coffee maker did not work. In fairness, I did not notify them of this, except to leave a note when I left. Ditto for the freezer, which needed defrosting and would not close, overcooling the refrigerator. "

"Comfortable tenting experience with the amenities of a cabin but without the hassle of needing to pack and bring all your own tent and gear. It is a bit of a hike up to the site from the parking area, pack thoughtfully."
