"The hotel was pretty nice, the Wave restaurant in particular was awesome. The indoor pool felt a bit dated, but my kids still enjoyed it. The outdoor pool was super nice and we spent a decent amount of time there. The grounds were very well maintained and the views of the lake were spectacular of course. The staff was pleasant enough for the most part. We were just a bit disappointed with our room, it felt relatively small and dated, however it wasn't really where we spent most of our time, so...

"Our room was not ready after 8pm when we arrived to check in. They then stated it was and we checked and it still wasn't. We left and went elsewhere."

"I would recommend this property highly. The decoration is soothing and rustic, the rooms are very nice and breakfast gives a variety of choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only down item is the height of the stools in the bathrooms, they are very short. My 5' 2" companion said that she felt like she was sitting on a child's potty and I am considerably taller & felt like my knees were up under my chin. I am a senior and I had trouble getting off the toilet when I was finished."

"We met the owner and the onsite couple that maintains, cooks and cleans the place. We went off season so there wasn’t much to do in the town, but this place is beautiful. We loved it and didn’t want to leave. The location to downtown Green Lake is perfect."

"The actual space was much larger than I anticipated which was a nice surprise! The host took great care in personalizing our stay. When booking I shared we were in town for a large volleyball tournament happening in Oshkosh, and when we arrived there was a basket with volleyball socks, lollipops and straw covers! "The environment was amazing, very accommodating and the owner was very prompt to respond to any questions we had. We had a great time, the house is well located for fishing and getting away but close enough to town in case you want to go out to eat or trip to the store. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Montello area. "

"This is a property great for a small family and did have wonderful things for kids, although we did not use them. It was the perfect size for what we needed. The house was clean but there were a lot of spiders inside and out of the house. I would love to stay there again."

"Everything was perfect! Minor issue, the chairlift didn’t work for our elderly celebrity. They did send someone to try to get it to work, but couldn’t. We made due and it was still a wonderful stay. It was quiet in the house even with a busy road. The waterfall is a beautiful view from the living room. The yard and outside patio is lovely. Everything set up in that house is perfect. Over all a 10/10."
