"There were a couple spiders in the room, occasional solitary ants skittering across the desk, and a couple caterpillars in the hallway one night after a heavy rain. Probably because the hotel is right up against open wooded area at the back of the lot."

"The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau...

"My husband and I stayed for a few days at "Heaven on Earth," and it truly lives up to it's name. We loved it! Our host, Joy, was always just a phone call away, and went above and beyond for us.
