"Overall we enjoyed our stay in Fes. The riad makes a great first impression—the courtyard is beautiful, and the rooftop has great views and is a really nice spot for breakfast. Our room on the main level wasn’t ideal. The windows opened straight into the lobby, so it didn’t feel very private, and we could hear a lot of conversation through the vents (and assumed the same the other way). "The staff here are wonderful. They helped us arrange anything we needed in terms of food and rides. They also gave us room upgrades for every member of our party which was a nice suprise. The only downside was one of the bottom floor rooms had live roaches. "

"It was my first time in Morocco and in Africa. I arrived late at night feeling very disoriented everything was so different that I even thought about flying back to Canada 😅. Thankfully, Yusuf at reception was incredibly reassuring. He saw I was panicking and told me to take the night to process everything, and he checked in on me. It is located really close the Blue Gate of the Medina and there are a few banks and atms, which is a plus!
