"This hotel is in a beautiful location with extensive grounds and several golf courses. The chateau is a lovely centre piece overlooking the lake. We stayed in Relais des Vigiers which is separate accommodation in the grounds. The room was large, very clean and the bathroom had a great shower. There was also an outside seating area. It was ver gomfortable. We also ate in the Bistro and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We had a wonderful stay at La Maisonette, nestled scenically at the base of the historic castle/fort of Beynac. The property was immaculately clean and easy to "figure out" (air systems, stove, wifi, etc.) thanks to really clear instructions from the owner and a very responsive and friendly local property manager. If you like to sit out quietly with your morning coffee, there is a quiet, serene garden. The town is not touristy (at least not in September) and a good base to explore the Dordogne...

"This is a lovely property about 8 minutes from downtown Sarlat. We were looking for a quieter, less urban experience after Bordeaux and this property has lots of outdoor places to relax with a glass of wine or swim in the pool. The hosts were very helpful and our room was quite comfortable with a king-sized bed and large bathroom. "

"Excellent service, super friendly staff , only critique is accessibility of electric plugs next to the bed , as everybody has phone, computer, ipad … to charge overnight. We had a wonderful time there, restaurant is outstanding on top of all "
