"I really enjoyed my stay at Big 8 hotel. Accessibility and parking were easy and convenient. Their pool was large enough to enjoy with other guest. Workout room was adequately supplied with equipment. The best part was the staff. They were friendly,courteous and welcoming. I definitely will stay there again."

"The room that they gave me, the location is not good, There is a window but facing the wall of the next building. You can’t see the outside world. You can see the water treatment, some constructions materials dumped downstairs. "

"We had Very nice stay. The entrance in a little rough. Was not prepared for so many steps up and down getting into the property. Do not remember it being listed in property information.. But once down into the property it was everything we had hoped for. Quiet, tropical, lots of exotic birds and so many beautiful plants. The Bungalow we stayed in was perfect size for 2 people, very romantic. The service is casual and relaxed but still attentive. Our Room Butler Jerlyn was amazing. So friendly...

"Stayed 3 nights in this newer boutique hotel on the smaller scale, which I usually prefer for the personalized experience, however, this hotel was somewhat lacking in this department. The staff was pleasant in a reserved kind of way. The room was very clean but the air-conditioning was inadequate even at the lowest setting. One corner of the hallway next to my room was piled deep with rollaway beds, presumably from the lack of storage space. The hot water in the shower would cut out...

"The Front Desk staff were very efficient and helpful especillay Shenna and Joni. Breakfast was unexpectedly pinoy cuisine with longganisa, sunny side up eggs, bite-size tortang talong with fried rice. I highly recommend Microtel Davao. Just a note: if ypu did not have a full bath towel in your room notify front desk. They thought I swiped their towel haha"
