"We had been looking forward to returning to Cognac for a few years. Penny and Tony's house didn't disappoint! Surrounded by vineyards, you couldn't hope for a more peaceful location. There was a large garden for our cocker spaniel and children to roam in and a very pleasant pool with all the necessary pool toys and inflatables provided. "Very clean, seems to be great for families with kids. Over priced, not a 4 star feel, very disappointed to have to pay for 1 hour spa use - €15 per person! - parking, breakfast, bikes...nothing seems to be included. Peaceful yet isolated location. "

"We have been quite disappointed with the place. However it seems to be more of hotels.com mistake. The place was advertised as pet friendly with wifi etc… and for the price we paid we would expect some kind of comfort. Apparently the property does not accept pets so they put us in an annexe outside of the property (just next door).
