"We were given a warm friendly welcome from owner Nicolas who showed us around his lovely homely farmhouse. The house looked stunning in the warm Charentes sunshine and is set in magnificent gardens filled with flowers and a fascinating variety of trees including cherry, apple, fig, olive, chestnut etc, etc. The top of the garden has space for games and would be great for kids. "The cottage was very clean and comfortable in a lovely style with everything we needed for out 3 week stay in September. There is a private terrace that looks onto the garden which is a relaxing place to drink your morning coffee and a glass of wine in the evening. The garden was a real treat for us and a lot of care and attention has gone into creating a beautiful green environment with a wide variety of plants to look at and the butterflies they attract.
