"Good value for money - the hotel is in a great location for visiting Etna but is slightly too far up the hill to wonder into Zaffarena for dinner. Free and plentiful parking (in October). The room was clean, a decent size and balcony has an amazing view over the town towards the sea. There is a free minibar which is a nice feature, with lemonades and water to drink. "The room is very nice and spacious. Comfortable bed and very good bathroom facilities. We didn't have the breakfast option so can't comment on that but the host is very considerate so it would probably be good It was lovely to stay in a traditional Sicilian house. 50 steps to the front door so if you aren't physically fit, this might not be for you. Close to the bus station and the train station. Can't comment on parking."

"We had a wonderful and unique stay at this renewed castle, converted to a boutique, high standard hotel. Beautiful and classy garden for breakfast included and luxurious dinner if booked. Amazing large pool overlooking the beach. An easy, 20 minute drive from Taormina. One point had to be taken off, sadly, due to the queen bed mattress which felt small and a bit squeeky and not perfect maintenance of bathroom. Other than that - truly a magical experience reflecting the vibe of romantic Sicily."
