"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very clean rooms and breakfast area, swimming pool, whole building. Breakfast was fantastic!"

"I must have had a newer room during my last stay, because the room I was in did show some wear and tear. The day I tried to use the ironing board, it fell apart on me. I called the front desk and reported it and maintenance brought a replacement right away. Also, I stayed four nights and chose not to have my room cleaned until the third day. When I did request the room to be cleaned it was not; they said they were down two housekeepers so it was not done. So, I just asked for extra towels."

"The property is clean condition and the staff was friendly. Could use some updates but very nice otherwise."

"This is such a quaint, beautiful place to stay. Communication from the property owners was excellent. They have a community sauna, hot tub, and fire pit. I was not able to utilize these as I was on a short business trip. Do remember to pack an iron, if needed. Other than that, they supply everything you need."

"This is a great get away place to enjoy nature. They have hiking trails, etc as well as boat rentals for the water."

"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not...

"Good and clean"

"Had a wonderful time."

"outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading. "

"Nice and quiet."

"Dog friendly translates to strong wet dog odor. Probably wouldn't bother dog lovers but is pretty intense for those not used to it. Make sure to toggle the expected guests when booking: despite no mention of cost differences by number of guests on Expedia, and the fact the default number is a passive default in the booking process, the owners charged us extra after we arrived for having our kids with us (we were still within the "sleeps 6" threshold). Not sure if that violates expedia' policies,...

"Loved our stay at the Wonder Woods Cabin! The cabin was the perfect size, very clean and had everything we needed. The game room was very nice and loved how we could walk over to The Strand for dinner! Highly recommend."

"Everything was great, only wished paper towels and Kleenex were supplied. Also the water from faucets was very smelly..had to buy are own."

"Debbie was a sensational host! She was cordial, always communicating with important details and was there to greet us upon arrival with her friendly pooch, Buster. The cabin was perfect and the area super quiet. Thank you!"

"The Grain Binn is a hidden gem. Everything is perfect, a true A !!!"

"No, I 100% do not recommend this location. While I'm not a perfectionist, there are certain expectations when you pay for a room...basic cleanliness and good repair. But this location provides a broken bed, a hazardous broken floor in the center, burned out lightbulbs, cobwebs and spiders so thick in the corner that we couldn't plug in the other lights, one very sticky furniture piece to place things on, and a dirty fridge surface around the microwave. And the bleach smell was so overwhelming my...

"Lovely accommodation and host handled a last minute issue for me quite nicely."
