"This accommodation has a lot of potential. The pool is great. The apartments are really large and clean. There are a few restaurants on the property that no longer function except to serve special events which is unfortunate because it’s in the middle of the country with nothing closeby. The office is a mile away from the accommodation. Google maps does not lead you directly to the office. The people running the place are very nice & helpful. "We had a wonderful two nights at this peaceful oasis. The silo rooms are charming, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views. Joao, the host, was accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. The food was great, really good breakfast, and a nice selection of snacks and wines on the lovely terrace. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!"

"Lovely, quiet place, close to very beautiful scenery and authentic Portuguese rural experience. Loved the burros! But like most pools in Portugal, too cold to use. Not sure why no one installs solar water heaters on a nearby roof top to heat the pool as it would be fairly inexpensive investment. Also wonder why most of all shower enclosures in Europe leak water onto the floor."

The young fellow was kind enough to change us to a room on the 3rd floor, which was ok for us although it lacks certain amenities. The worst thing happened was upon the check out. "I would have given it 10 out of 10 if it wasn't the lack of hot water during my husband shower when it was 2 degrees outside. He had to get out wet and have a shower in another apartment as there was no one to fix the issue at the time. The dinner and breakfast were amazing and the service from the waiter as well. It is a beautiful Quinta with great views. The bed and bedsheets were really nice and the apartments are great for people staying longer as you have the ability to cook your own...
