"Wonderful place and even better hosts. Our AC went out and they put us up in another place for one night and had an entire brand new unit in one day. Also she cooked us wonderful conch fritters and the best carrot cake ever. If you want an off the beaten path true Bahamian experience this is a must do! So safe the people are wonderful. Don’t forget to visit Lorraine’s mom. For the most insane coconut bread ever and Lorraine’s cafe for amazing food. Rent a boat for the day and explore all the wonderful islands! "

Couldn’t have been more pleased with our hosts and their cozy cottage. It’s exactly as described! Anita made sure we visited her recommended beaches! So beautiful! Golf cart a must to hop around. "Everything about our stay with Ida in the Starfish cottage was magical and perfect. Simple, adorable accommodations in a gorgeous location overlooking the bay and marina on Black Point Cay. It’s definitely out of the way (unless you have your own boat or plane), but getting there is part of the adventure. Ida and her family, along with all the residents we met, were welcoming and open to sharing their quiet island home. Travel light (& with a light touch) and you will be well rewarded with some of the most relaxing days of your life!"
