We were very relaxed and enjoyed the benefit of having water available for drinking and cooking. I would recommend packing a water bottle to save money and for the sustainability. "We just returned from our first trip to Belize and are already daydreaming about a trip back. The resort was clean and the rooms were large. The staff was so friendly and helpful. What a great experience. I called ahead of time and they helped us coordinate ferries and transports to the hotel. Highly recommend renting a golf cart for your stay. "This was a tranquil experience. The hotel resides on the north side of caye caulker which is a nice break from the busy south side. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff was beyond excellent. They provided complimentary transportation to the south side and locations in the nearby area. They arranged a taxi for us to be picked up at the airport and transport us to the water taxi. Justin and Freddy were the best. We will definitely be coming back with more family."

"The rooms were beautiful, very clean and always well stocked with everything we needed, the nightly turn down service with lovely cookies was a delightful surprise, we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary while there, the staff were wonderful. One suggestion, nightly live music or some entertainment would have been a nice touch. "

"What a wonderful resort; beautiful, small, cozy, and friendly staff. Front desk really came through for us when our flight was 4 hours late arriving. They managed to get us on the last Tropic air flight and waited for us at the airport in San Pedro. Pros: The villas are spacious and kitchens have everything needed to cook simple meals. "A Romantic Island Escape Shaka Kai in Believe is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had stepped into paradise. The bungalows were spotless and beautifully designed, with two large windows overlooking the stunning blue sea — waking up to that view was unforgettable. One thing I was disappointed which is the same with the other hotels …no access to the beach to swim. You have to rent a golf cart to go to the Secret Beach w/c was another experience, but it’s worth it…it was beautiful "
