"Checked in late night, Air-conditioner was not working took an hour to make it running, during check in I informed door knob was broken. They came and looked at but didn't fix or give us different room. During using the washroom, I noticed that there was a water leak from the tube. Called receptionist and complained. A plumber came middle of the night tried more than an hour. They didn't offer another room. I tried to sleep last part of the night but couldn't due to smelly blanket and pillow....

"Had a wonderful stay. Everything was excellent, but the highlight was definitely the breakfast and dinner buffet layout with a fantastic spread. The staff were extremely professional and courteous, especially Mr. Amin and Mr. Waleed, who truly know how to treat guests. The cleanliness throughout the hotel was commendable and every staff member was always happy and eager to assist. Highly recommended! "

"Definitely a 5 star hotel, clean and safe all around the hotel. Staff are very professional and very polite. Has access to the swimming pool and childrens area. Beautiful scenic view for people that love to take pictures. "

"PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL. I will give you many reasons but above all, they will not only not listen to you. They will rob you, lie to you and then accuse YOU of rejecting help. 1. We booked the executive room for the space for our family that comes with a KING bed. What a joke. It was a full. Not even a queen. Another excellent stay at the Grand Sylhet!

"Have stayed at GSHR in several occasions and always received excellent service and proved another great experiment in all respects. Comfort, location, staff friendliness and facilities are excellent and the Hotel makes genuine effort to make guests feel valued even in the smallest way- lovely to have couple of small chocolates nicely presented and left in my room each day😊 Checkin/ checkout efficient and well organised as was the complimentary transport to and from the airport. All much appreciated and I look forward to my next stay!"
