"Perhaps the best Best Western in my long life. Great breakfast—I need to limit carbs and they provide plenty to meet that need. The facility is quiet, peaceful and lovely. My only concern is that the fragrances used in cleaning products both inside and outside the room were irritating. Fragrance sensitivity is a growing problem and makes traveling a challenge. My sinuses and face were irritated and puffy all stay and all the rest of the day I Checked out."

"We appreciated that the breakfast biscuits were kept warm. We stayed in a handicap room, and the tub didn't have a rubber mat on the bottom, so it was slick. My husband didn't shower because he was afraid of falling. Other than that is was a nice place to stay."

However, any concerns disappeared once we arrived.The property was wonderful. "Baker City served as a great base camp for us to ski at Anthony Lakes, and this was a lovely home on a dead end street so was very quiet. After a day of skiing, having Barley Brown's in town was very convenient! :)Also, the hosts were incredibly responsive during our stay. We had an issue with the lock code on the door so I called the host, Blake answered on the first ring and in about 2 seconds, we were inside.
