"The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Castle and other interesting sights. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate. The communal sitting area is lovely and I was plied with tea all afternoon. The place is really warm which as a February visitor was important. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. They argued with us that we even had a reservation there and only after insisting several times that we had a reservation did they check and saw we did. They didn’t seem to want us to be there. The interior is gaudy and one of the windows in our room was broken."
