"The restaurant food was fresh and eating area clean"

"I was very disappointed to discover that there was not an option of coffee. Both at my initial arrival, there seems to have been a shortage of staff and it took a lengthy amount of time for someone to come to the front desk. The first night I assumed I got checked in accurately. But when I got back to the room the following day, I discovered that the clerk had not taken payment for the 2nd night I had requested. She was very friendly and wanting to be helpful- but I sense she was...

"My review will be as positive as possible; there is potential for the property, (i.e., enhancements include, but not limited to the following: extensive cleanliness of the room I visited; I did not stay, clearly due to its condition, furniture, bed, walls, curtains, bathroom, et al anomalies. The advertisement of a room at this property on Expedia did not truly exist. This concludes my review. It's my hope and prayer that this property will be visited by The DHEC, and The S.C. Restaurant and...

"Moldy shower, dirty mattress, broken faucet, clogged drain. Just don’t."

"The two women in working in the office . as the Housekeeping staff were , great were fantastic. This is an old property that needs a lot of renovation. I stayed in the same room two years ago, and the light was still broken, the bathroom fan stilldid not work, the telephone did not work, the door to the room had gaps not on the bottom as if they had been chipped away at and there was a very musty smell in the room. On the positive side, the breakfast was nice, the staff were super friendly, I...

"The staff were very helpful and friendly."

"The room was clean. The staff was friendly. I just showered, slept and left very early."

"The politeness and helpfulness of the staff is the only reason this hotel doesn’t get 0 stars. The room was disappointing. The bathroom had the sliding glass door removed from the shower and it was replaced with a shower curtain so water constantly leaked out onto the floor. The bathroom door wouldn’t stay open and there is no fan in the bathroom, so the humidity stayed unless you propped the door open. There was a lot of mildew because of this. The sofa cushions were stained so bad I didn’t...

"We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast options included healthy food choices. Entire property is new with contemporary decor."

"I booked an ADA accessible room, but was informed upon arrival that there wasn't any. Not any available, but not any at all. The ramp to go down to get to the room was partially blocked by vending machines in 2 places. Breakfast was basically no existent. Our family had 4 rooms booked with a total of 10 people (9 adults). The hotel provided 12 mini muffins, 2 slices of raisin bread, 2 bagels, 3 pieces of plain bread, and some dry cereal total for all the guests. Then there was a towel wedged...

"Loved that manager was walking around in a suit checking the public area and especially the breakfast area .Nice lady checked us in and out."

"We stayed in the full access handicap room. The carpet is nasty and smells really bad. I felt that we packing that odor in all of our things when leaving. However, I called the desk to report a broken ironing board and it was replaced very fast. The staff was very friendly. They just need to give that room and carpet a good cleaning."
