Our wonderful 12th floor 2 bedroom 2 bathroom 955 sq. ft. condo is located right on the beach with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico.
laminate floors and stainless steel kitchen appliances and new granite countertop in kitchen.
Condo has been repainted and sofa bed and chairs in the living room have been renewed in January 2024.
The living area and master bedroom open onto the 152 sq. ft. balcony overlooking the beautiful emerald water and that gorgeous white sandy beach. Best Views from the 12th Floor! You will enjoy watching the beautiful white sand beach and the breathtaking sunsets on the balcony. Pelican Beach Resort is an ideal family resort located in the heart of beautiful Destin, right on the beach. Perfect getaway for your family! It is conveniently located, and it is close to numerous shops, restaurants, spas and water parks so anything you want is just minutes away making this the perfect destination for your dream beach vacation!
Pelican Beach Resort offers deeded private beach, has heated indoor and outdoor pools, kiddie pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room, fitness center, beach services, umbrella and chair rentals, beachside Tiki Bar, a seasonal deli/cafe/convenience store, video game room, tennis courts, kayak rentals ,free parking and outdoor grills, 24/7 on site security and front desk
Condo is for maximum 6 people and resort management will not allow more than 6 people stay in this condo and will provide wristbands to all guests which has to be used all times to use the facilities and the beach.
Master bedroom has King bed, with on-suite bath.
Guest bedroom has 2 Twin beds.
Living room has Queen pull-out sofa.

We’re coming back
We loved this stay. It was completely as expected and was so easy to check in which I appreciated. We’ve stayed at other Destin resorts and none were as friendly as the staff at pelican beach. We’re rebooking this exact condo because the instructions were so easy for check in and out and the chairs saved us $40 a day. It’s the little things that were so nice.

Great view
The 12th floor served up great view from the balcony. The bed was comfy and another great view from there. All the pools and hot tubs were relaxing. The beach was fantastic to take a long walk and chat. Hope to make it back someday.

Nice condominium! Two separate rooms, 1 queen bed and the other room had two individual beds as well as couch/bed. Large balcony to view the sea! The management was also very helpful with all our questions! Overall great place to Stay in Destin!

Great Condo for Family
A great condo to stay at. My family and I loved it and would book again. Below is my full review of the good and bad. Some things are beyond the control of the unit owner but are mentioned for potential renters. Pros: Great beach view and huge patio. You can see one of the pools from the room to check if it's too packed. Amazing emerald water and white sand. Excellent condo layout. Three smart TVs in the unit; two with extensive cable packages. Pelican Resort is well-maintained with ample staff. Pools are cleaned daily. Security ensures only guests use the facilities. The on-site cafe is great. We used all three pools and both jacuzzis. Beach proximity is about 150 ft from the elevators. Owner stocked the unit with DW pods, paper towels, and TP – a nice touch. Cons: Appliances: DW didn’t work, old dryer with a faulty lint trap, and the fridge door needs to be shoved closed. Front door sticks due to a damaged deadbolt. Grand bath lighting is finicky. Bath vents need cleaning. Low mirrors – at 6'1", I had to squat to see myself. Traffic in this part of Destin is insane. Be prepared to drive aggressively Biggest bummer: the beach chairs and umbrellas situation. The listing does warn about this, but the beach isn't open for free setup. The complex rents out rows of umbrellas and chairs ($30-$50), and you must set up behind them if you don’t rent, with no view of the water. This setup from 8 AM to 4 PM was unexpected and disappointing Overall we loved it and would book again.

I would suggest more forks in the silverware, more than the 3/4 cooking utensils. The refrigerator door doesn't close very well, we had to throw a few things out that spoiled. We the realized you have to push well to close it, that may be something you want to let future guest know of in advance. We didn't mind once we knew, just wish we'd known from the beginning. Other than that it was nice having a vacuum and broom to clean up after the beach and cooking, I would suggest putting a better mop in there though. The view was amazing the place was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Very impressed with condo, facilities and beach. Beach view from the balcony is breathtaking. Got to watch the dolphins daily!! Great location to experience several of Destin's attractions! Had a water pipe break while we were there.....repaired very quickly and owner stayed in constant contact with me to keep us informed! Would highly recommend!

The unit is in a perfect location, central to everything you need! Beach is easy access. Pools are nice! You can even get drink and food service on the beach! Condo was nice. Master bed has and old spring mattress. Can use and update. Condo has some wear and tear but over all great for what we needed. Balcony was big and had great views for ocean, pool and water park across the way! I’d stay here again 😊

The property was located in a nice place, able to get to things around easily
The property manager communication was very good, property was stocked well and somewhat clean, but I’m a very picky person. The dryer broke while there but the property owner handled it fast and with great communication, the iron could be replaced it’s a old as me. Overall I would not hesitate to rent again.

Excellent Beach Rental
Very clean and nice property. Saw that some people complained about the view as not being ocean front, but we had zero complaints. The view is from 12th floor with no obstructing buildings between the unit and the ocean. Spacious and the internet was so strong we could use it from the beach! Only small flaw was the ice maker didn’t work. We never complained about it so not their fault as we just bought a bag downstairs that lasted us the weekend. Terrific rental!!!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The process was very smooth and communication was great from the owners. The location was convenient and the beach views were excellent. The staff at Pelican Beach were friendly and helpful. The overall property is a bit dated (I.e. gym, cafe), but in decent condition. This unit has been updated (kitchen, TVs) but is also showing some wear (furniture, paint). Regardless it was the perfect place for our family of four (with 11 and 13 year old kids) to stay for spring break.

Great condo with nice views of the Gulf. Spacious, clean modest condo with an updated kitchen. Pools and hot tub and beach area were perfect!! Condo Building itself a bit dated but no biggie as I think that’s reflected in the price. Im main area in Destin. Busy with everything you could need around you. But condo itself wasn’t too busy and I love the no smoking policy in entire condo! Lots of snowbirds enjoying themselves at pool area. Note that view out condo balcony is super pretty out one side and you’re seeing a lot of buildings to the left. Beach is absolutely gorgeous though! For the value, would definitely stay here again!
