Great location, great beach access, plenty of parking. Unit was exactly as described in pictures. Pool was excellent, staff were very friendly and answered all questions. The view from the balcony was perfect. Looking forward to staying here again.

I booked this as a last minute getaway to enjoy some warm weather overlooking the beach. This place was awesome! It looks exactly like the photos, very clean, and well appointed. The bed was SOOOO comfortable with a great ocean view. We spent a lot of time on the balcony as it has a perfect view of the gulf, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the dolphins swim by every morning. Two swimming pools, shuffle board, tennis/pickleball, and easy access to the beach with complementary chairs/umbrella. This was such a great unit, I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for an awesome stay!!

Great condo

We were very pleased with the condo. Nice view and very well maintained. Everything you need in the kitchen except for a cutting board. Of course we made do.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay while it lasted. The unit we stayed in had a good beach view and my parents loved it. My only complaint is the elevator was always out of order and elevator rides were rough. I would take the stairs but my knees do not allow that. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Beach fun!

The only thing we missed was having a washer & dryer in the unit. It's nice to be able to wash you towels after a day at the beach. Also, having to walk to the other end of the other building to dump our trash was a bit of a pain. Hopefully they will have that issue resolved soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We opted for an ocean view u it and we were not disappointed. Beautiful decor and comfortable beds. My only concern were the floors. Although they were swept, they were not mopped efficiently. We don’t wear shoes in any home so this was an issue and there were not cleaning supplies to do it myself. The unit itself came equipped with all necessary items and we enjoyed our first stay here. I will admit, it’s quite expensive to rent any unit here but having the means to “your own home” is a plus for a week!!!

Paradise Experience

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Reviews mean the experience ended and that is the only downfall we experienced. Unit 607 was beyond perfect and made it even tougher packing our bags up the morning of departure. From the cozy, beach decoration to the full kitchen, this unit felt like the perfect dream home. We have family not far from here and close to the beach but there is nothing like actually staying on the beach where you can see and hear the waves as well as feel the breeze 24/7. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The entire complex was clean and welcoming. Having beach toys for the kids in the room and the facility to use was a big plus and saved plenty of room in the car. The property location is perfect as you don’t have to sit in traffic on 98 to get here. We will definitely book another trip soon.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pricing has gotten really high. Families with 10 - 14 year olds were allowing their kids to throw balls/footballs in the pool with no concern for others who were also trying to enjoy their vacation. Three times the ball hit me right in the face (i wear prescription sunglasses to make matters worse!) We were not the only people complaining. There are just too many people enjoying a community pool for kids to be allowed to throw balls. It's not safe. They can take their balls and have a toss on the grassy areas around. With all the rules that are listed for the pool, this should certainly be one that is important. Second issue, while we realize that maintenance has to be done and certainly don't mind that, men were in the windows early in the morning, dangerous razor blades were on the ground in front of our entrance, we were blocked from getting to the elevator. Perhaps a little extra care could be taken while doing construction.

BEAUTIFUL CONDO but management needs improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved our condo. The front desk staff and security at the Islander needs work. There were four teenagers spotted throughout the property on several occasions and the police responded on one of these occassions. At one time, I was in the laundry room and noticed the four teenagers who were hanging out in the laundry room with the lights off (it was pitch black) when I walked in. I noticed that none of them had Islander bracelets and were not doing laundry. I reported this to the front desk and the woman on duty seemed less than concerned. As the week progressed, I heard of several more issues with this same group of teens that were not guests at the Islander. I was very disappointed in the response I received and the continued lack of action taken by staff until the police were finally called to handle the situation. We have been coming to the Islander for nearly twenty years and I think this is the worst management that I've experienced.

Hope to returrn

This is our second stay. there have been improvements in the Islander . the condo was great the is extraordinary. the dolphins swam by every morning for Coffee time on the balcony.

Vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Not the best experience

Quiet, nice stay

This property is super clean. Check In process was a breeze. Can be beneficial to note the restrictions on the beach in the listing. Overall great stay.
