The rooms were clean, though slightly nicer pillows could enhance comfort. The kitchen was well-equipped with all essentials, but there was no blow dryer. The pool and beach access were incredible, making for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay overall.

We had the best time! The condo had everything we needed and the resort was close to all the fun. I did extensive research on resorts and location and this one was definitely the best. We drove by ones we considered and I’m so glad we went with silver shells! We will definitely be back.

The location was perfect, Silver shells is next to a state park. Destin, the typical crowded beach town on the west side and natural beauty seashore on the East with easy access to suburban type stores and restaurants with easy parking. There was a night Heron hanging out at the waters edge fishing most nights and would leave when the sun came up in the morning. You have to look over the dunes for the sunrise but mornings were great on the beach and the moons reflection on the water at night was magical. We rented chairs for the beach and loved the luxury of coming and going and knowing our chairs and space was secure. If you don’t want the expense there were chairs in the condo to use. The resort was very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The layout was perfect for two couples, it almost felt like two master bedrooms, open bright and cheery! The kitchen was well appointed and the balcony was great. The view was better than the pictures. Holly, the owner, was fabulous and available via text for any questions or concerns. We will be returning in November and June and plan on staying in this exact unit!!Boshamps for dinner was AMAZING!!!! Worth the wait Don’t recommend Back porch, it’s walkable but hot inside and mediocre food

Very nice resort

Silver Shells is a great resort. We stayed in St Lucia and the property was very clean. The balcony is a good size and we enjoyed a few meals at the outside table there. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows were flat. So maybe bring your own pillows. Very nice master bath. We couldn't figure out how to connect a cable to the Internet to have more options to watch TV but overall, we had a great time.

Great location! Extremely Clean! Excellent amenities!

Everything was perfect about the stay. Very clean, Nicely decorated, and can't beat the location. The one downside is that you need to pick up and drop off your wrist bands and key fobs 5 miles away in the opposite direction of the airport. We did not rent a car so it was an inconvenience for us to not be able to just pick up and drop off on the way in the cab. But everything else was perfect.

Great location

Great location. Walking distance to amazing restaurants. Beach was private and pools were very well kept up. We were really bummed out the tennis courts were being repaved and we couldn’t use it at all. Listing was very well kept lots of amenities and kitchenware to use. Air conditioner was extremely frustrating and it kept Auto setting back to 78* at night after we would set it. Bathroom & Closet and all rooms were huge. Really enjoyed our stay. Communication with owner and rental property was great.

Spring Break 2024

My daughter and her friend wanted to go to Destin for spring break so my wife and I took them. Nice condo and nice complex. Condo was clean. My only "gripe" on the condo was the kitchen could have been better stocked and the master bedroom bed could have been better. Check-in was a little confusing for us, but we got it figured out. Waze got confused taking us to the rental company to pick up are packet, so that took a few turns to find. Overall nice place and would stay there again. Enjoyed the pickleball courts and fitness center.

Nice condo!

This condo met all my expectations. One thing I would say is the cookware needs some work. As for pots, there was only one small one. Also, there wasn't any plasticware with lids or anything to store our food in the refrigerator for leftovers.
