"This property was a nightmare. It was advertised as having AC, but only had one weak portable unit that couldn’t cool the home below 27C (80F), making it unsafe for our newborn who was overheating and crying nonstop. On top of that, we were warned not to use multiple electrical devices at once or risk losing power—making it impossible to use fans or cool the space.Worse, the water heater vented directly into the kitchen, filling the home with gas whenever hot water was used. "This property is amazing, a great location with fantastic views. I would highly recommend this property. Parking in the garage is very tight, but it is in a quiet area with easy on street parking available. "

"The place was great. On point to the review online everything in place, clean, lots of free space for big families. Quiet and beautiful view. Amazing owners that helped us a lot in every way we needed. The only downside I think about is the mattress being quite old, older folks with back problems we had a hard time to sleep and wake up. The host communicated really well and provided all instructions and guidance, answering any queries swiftly! Train station 5 minutes walk, ferry port also. "Perfect location - walk to everything - restaurants, shops, two small grocery stores / delis. Five minute walk to the ferry to get you anywhere else. Sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine, looking at the incredible views and people watching was fabulous. And both Giorgio and Alberto were great and always around and accessible if needed. "The view from the terrace is amazing! A wonderful and relaxing place to spend time on Lake Como. The location is very convenient to the ferry in Varenna. You can’t walk easily to Varenna but the drive is quick and parking was easy in the garage. If you are looking for beauty and relaxation, this is the perfect place. "

"Great place! Short walk to shops, restaurants and water taxis, etc. Upon arrival we accidentally left a backpack on the local bus line. The hotel staff member(s) made calls and helped track it down. Could not be more thankful. We would definitely return. "

"This is an incredible hotel, with perhaps the best location in Lake Como. Giulia was very kind and helpful upon check-in. And the best was to come - the location and the view (if you get a lake viewing room) are unbeatable! Varenna is perhaps the best town on Como, and you are steps from the Lido (small beach), beautiful walks, and the walk up to Castello di Vezio. Regarding the room- it was super clean, comfortable and had all we needed, with nice small touches. We did not agree with any of the concerns others manifested (eg, noise)"
