"It is an older beautiful building and kept in its original character. There are quirks, of course, and that goes along with the character. It sits just feet from the water, with gorgeous views. The people were fantastic as well as the food!!! I stayed here because it was a central location for my travels. Even with the live band (yes -LIVE), it was fairly peaceful and quiet in my room. A little far from amenities, but it is Ireland, so there's not a Kwik Shop every 2 miles 😉 "

"Was situated just right to be able to travel around and visit all the must see sites in Connemara. Road was busy at certain times but didnt distract from the peaceful area. Would definitely need a car, but plenty of parking at the house and free parking available at all visitor sites."
