"My husband and our dog had the best time at the lakefront cabin! The cabin itself is simple but comfortable and the real winner is the private cove and beach. Our dog woke us up early each morning and couldn’t wait to jump in. Very dog friendly with the huge yard and dog runner. Susan and her husband were great hosts and made sure we knew how everything worked. It was a perfect escape and we can’t wait to go back! "

"As two women staying here by ourselves, this place made us uncomfortable. Wires were cut leading up to the hut (they said it’s been like that for 6 years but how would we know that?) and the lock was broken/tampered with so that it wouldn’t lock at all. Didn’t feel as it was worth it to call someone out as we were in the middle of nowhere and still felt unsafe on the property so we left to find a hotel."

"Four of us, including our 6 year old grandson, stayed here for the 2024 total eclipse. We had a great time -- quiet and peaceful with starry nights and open views across the pond toward Jay Peak. Taking the paddle boat out on a half-frozen pond, as we waited for the eclipse, was big fun with the 6-year-old. "Absolutely charming little cabin for no more than 2 people and perfectly appointed. Beautiful, like something you would see in a travel magazine. Just about everything you need is already there: towels, kitchen supplies, cleaning supplies, grill, etc. The deck and grounds are well done with chairs and tables, a hammock is outside too. "Super private and comfortable! Andrew and Marilou , proprietors , were welcoming from the beginning until we had to leave for job life. The Osprey Cabin was perfect for ourselves!
