"Lovely hotel, warm welcome at reception, checked in quite quickly, large room nice & clean good view of the sea, staff mainly very good, bar staff very entertaining but need to concentrate on what people order & cut down on tricks, restaurant very good one one of the best hotel buffet's we've visited, good choice & the food was warm, overall a lovely stay, be it only for 2 nights, will try to come back for a longer stay. "

"Villa Almareca will not disappoint! A beautiful villa surrounded by a garden full of interesting plants and super pool. A great location in which to switch off and relax. Set between the coast and the fabulous valleys and mountains inland, if you like hiking and nature you are spoilt for choice. Your hosts Susan and Nick are genuinely so kind and helpful and their love of the villa comes across in all it's lovely furnishings and details. They have thought of everything! All round one of the loveliest places we have stayed and we would go back in a flash! "

"Very conveniently located hotel, OK breakfast, very friendly staff. The only problem is loud noise from motorbikes on Saturday night - could sleep till 2am"

"This is a lovely tranquil oasis outside of town. I enjoyed it very much, but they need to pay a bit more attention to maintenance. The jets in my tub did not work, the wooden roll up shade on the door out to my patio would not roll up all the way, my patio had not been swept, and I could only take a bath, not a shower, because the handle on the shower fixture was broken."
