Art Boutique Hotel Chamarel

"A real gem of a place, would definitely stay again. It is just gorgeous and the staff are incredible, so friendly and helpful. We were in a family room on the top floor and it was so quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfy and good facilities - the air con was a real treat to keep us cool! Breakfast is a little basic but good value for money, some fresh melon and more pastries maybe would be nice. Great coffee and good selection at the bar too. A couple of suggestions - the only mirror and bin were in the bathroom, it would have been good to have had these in the main room also. Thank you so much, we can’t recommend enough!"

"Muy bonito y tranquilo y el staff super amable y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. El portón a la playa super!! Muy cómodos muebles y cama. Cocina super con todo lo necesario y extras! Solo unos detallitos: El baño necesita super update, regadera toda rota, sale agua por arriba y los lados. La taza del baño suuuper incomodada, pegada al vidrio de regadera, era necesario sentarse de lado. Falta de ganchos para toallas y repisa en regadera. Agua de alberca helada, no se pudo disfrutar para nada, super pena!"

"Comfortable, well equipped hotel in a great location just below the castle close to the centre of town and the port/marina. Lovely roof terrace for drinks and dinner in the evening and lots of good restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful staff to look after you. Free on street parking nearby requires patience and a bit of luck but the parking at the port/fish market is surprisingly reasonable! Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"Staff were very friendly, arrival and departure was quick and easy. Pool was great with a nice bar area that served reasonably priced drinks. The breakfast buffet was great, there was a fantastic choice and a chef to cook extra bits like eggs and pancakes. The room was clean and spacious. The only problem was a kitchenette area with a fridge. however, there was nothing to use, no cutlery, plates and the hobs had been replaced, although it looked like an induction hob when we first arrived. It meant when we returned from the supermarket the first night we couldn't do anything. Staff in general were great but we did have an issue where we were going to a wedding, i asked for an iron but this never arrived despite asking 3 times, twice at reception and a phone call which meant i had to leave with creased clothes, not ideal."

"Cannot thank Patricia and Geri enough for our recent stay. Any issues we had were dealt with very quickly, and they were very minor issues anyway. We will return to Denia and I'd hope we'd be able to stay in this villa again as it had everything we needed.Once you have stayed you will feel the same. A truly lovely base to explore the area, or just laze by the pool and let the world go by."

"The hotel was in good location, parking at the hotel was easy. Staff were very good at check in. The hotel is very outdated but shower was great and room was spotless. It did exactly what we needed for 1 night in beautiful Dénia. We got back to the hotel around 11pm. It was full on party and noisy but didn’t affect us and we could t hear anything from our room."
