"It started badly when, upon entering the room, there was a smell of cigarette smoke. Clearly, the room should have been decommissioned until it could be properly cleaned and fumigated. As the property operates on an automated basis (the key is retrieved from a key safe with a code supplied by email), there was no receptionist on duty. "Christina has literally thought of everything you could possibly need on a break away. The cottage was very well stocked with essentials even down to a sewing kit, torches and umbrella. The biscuits and wine was very much appreciated after our long journey. The cottage was clean and very welcoming. The bed was comfortable and bathroom stocked with essentials too. Great base for seeing Suffolk. Do not hesitate to book this gem."

"We only stayed for one night but it was brilliant. The cupcakes, milk and eggs left for us were a really lovely touch. My granddaughter was so sad to leave that we will bring the whole family next summer."

"the lodges were spotlessly clean and Gavin was very friendly and informative it is the perfect peaceful retreat could not recommend enough"
