"Atmosphere! The building itself is eccentric and fun, within walking distance of Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, Ben Franklin's grave, etc. Plus Talula's Garden and downtown. The staff is excellent. I've stayed several times and would go back."

"First things first, I was very impressed and relieved by the cleanliness of the room. The architecture of the room was lovely with the brick walls, a fireplace, and a tiny balcony. I was able to leave the door to the balcony open and get fresh air in my room first thing in the morning. It was so nice. The complimentary blueberry muffin that they had in the lobby in the morning was delicious and moist."

"Beautiful hotel, very quiet and peaceful with nice staff and amenities."

"I called for an early check, but when I reach there at 2:19pm. I was told that Rume is not available and they asked me to pay 30$ for early check-in. Small lotion, small bar soap, small shampoo, broken TV, broken toilet seat. Never again"

"I arrive late at night and left 5:00am so did not get to explore but the building, room and staff were amazing"

"Excellent staff, perfect hospitality and definitely love the hotel’s condition - coming here for years, but always feels fresh and new."

"Great property in a great location with attention to detail throughout the apartment. However if you are a light sleeper, the constant train passing through and subsequent noise will surely be a bother."

"Everything was good."

"The Notary Hotel couldn't have been better spot for my short travel to Philadelphia for a work conference. Centered in downtown, it boasts a very cool vibe and has a great restaurant with available in-room dining. The fitness center is well stocked, clean, and a great space for working out. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Everything was great"

"Valet parking was hard to get on for an event- Chestnut Street is one lane for normal traffic- not conducive for valet parking. Long waits, blocked traffic."
