"Shadowcrest is a gorgeous 124-year old home and it is a wonder! Brendan made us feel right at home. My hubby and I had the Turquiose Room. It has a queen-sized bed which is SO comfortable. The bathroom is completely renovated with a heated floor, rainfall showerhead, a handheld shower and a stand-alone glass sink. Excellent amenities for your bathing pleasure. The room had a very mini fridge and microwave, a water heater for tea, plenty of mugs and glasses, bottled water, and other goodies. A nice sized TV is mounted on the wall. Parking is available in the lot across the street for free. Plenty of places to eat and things to do. Breakfast is served in the morning. We only stayed one night but will be back again. "Our stay at the Roxbury Motel was great. Our room was clean, and the decor unique. The whole place had great character and the front desk people were friendly. My only concern was that when I booked our room, it didn't say it was at the motel, which is a separate, but nearby, location from the Roxbury at Stratton Falls. Our friend were staying there and we didn't realize until we arrived that our place was down the road a couple of miles. Other than that, it was a great stay."
