Enchanting, Romantic Lakefront Cottage, Close to Frankenmuth

"Staying at this cottage was such a serene experience. When we arrived we found a personalized welcome note and treat, and could tell immediately that the hosts took extra care to make sure their guests had a great experience. They provided detailed information on the cottage and surrounding area, and both hosts checked to see if we needed anything. They make you feel like family. The scenic lake views are incredible, whether you’re inside or out. Our favorite was the awesome cozy chair on the sunporch built for two. Such a relaxing private escape from reality."

"It was peaceful and quiet, the room was immaculate, almost as if it were brand new. If you've ever been to hotel/ motel that had 40 coats of paint and was painted by 40 different blind people with Parkinson's you understand what I am saying. I recommend you ask for extra towels when you check in just to be sure you have enough. The bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in and the AC was perfect. The only reason for the 4 stars was we didn't have enough towels but they did deliver later that evening. I should not be so petty but if you registered 4 people there needs to be enough for 4 people."

"This is a very lovely home. We only stayed over night so we didn’t utilize the amenities. The house is very, very clean including the porch area and grounds. We did hear something (most likely a squirrel) in the wall of the upstairs bedroom but it never showed its face and politely kept quiet overnight."

"Beautiful property, and clean. The fridge and freezer work but not the greatest especially the freezer to freeze ice fully. We did rent the kayaks, under the belief the water was close with the photos but we did not see any water near the rv and never used them. The hot tub did not stay hot either, once we got in, it went to 91 degrees and would not get hotter, too cold to be a hot tub."
