"We visited at the end of the season and enjoyed the experience. It was pretty cold during the nighttime so appreciated the electric blanket although a warmer duvet would have been nice. Breakfast was ok although would have appreciated eggs! Meals in evening limited and in our mind expensive but you are a long way from alternative choices."

"The studio interior was very nice and just as described. The firepit area and outdoor shower were great amenities, but the hot water did run out on one night when all 3 of us took showers. The kitchen area was more well appointed than we expected. The property as a whole is very peaceful and you can see the stars incredibly well.There were a few shortcomings not mentioned in the listing which prevented us from giving 5 stars. For one, the parking situation is extremely tight and our car got blocked in at certain times. It seemed like more land could be cleared to open up additional parking spots when 4-5 cars are being parked at once on the property (and we only had one car for our group). On the last night, we had to leave very early so parked across the road to ensure we would not be blocked in.Also, there is no sound insulation between the first floor and 2nd floor and there is a bedroom and workshop on the first floor of the barn. This was not mentioned until we were about to check in. We were woken up some mornings by noise on the first floor."
