"A pleasing mix of old and new, perfectly situated to take in the sights of the Auvergne - a quiet retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. The owners were lovely, and gave us quite a tour and history of the property and region, as well as fruit from the garden and delicious home-made jam. We came upon a little restaurant in the tiny nearby village of Maleville, Les Mets d'Olivia, apparently not yet well known, where we enjoyed an evening of African food and music - what a treat."

"We loved the property, it is very peaceful and quiet, the pool is gorgeous and the house itself is decorated very nicely and feels cosy. It had all we needed to cook, and the two coffee machines were appreciated! We were 4 adults using two bedrooms, there was plenty of space for us all. It is a 10 min drive out to the nearest little village, and perhaps 25 mins to the nearest city, which was perfect for us. Pascal had some wonderful recommendations for us which we enjoyed. "Really amazing place! Lovely welcome and extremely well equipped and clean. Everything you could ever want from a holiday cottage, in a wonderful peaceful area. Will definitely return in the future! One of the nicest holiday rentals that we have ever had, highly recommended!!"
