Hidden gem in Decatur

Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. The “Eagles Nest” is just that. A loft perched on top of the hill, just north of Decatur with all the amenities one could ask for in a VRBO.

Beautiful 1 bedroom cottage

Great location, beautifully decorated with great views of the land. Host was wonderful to work with on early checkin and getting in the property gate. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Exceeded expectations

The Eagle’s Nest is honestly one of the best cared for and cleanest short-term rentals that I’ve ever stayed at! Michelle provided all the little things that make a stay extra enjoyable: cotton swabs and floss sticks in the bathroom and a stacked coffee bar with fresh scones. We will definitely stay here again!

This is our second time to stay here. Love love love this property! It’s always so clean and welcoming. The owners are so easy to work with! So thankful we have this place to stay when we are in Decatur.

Comfortable, cute and convenient

The apartment was spotless, comfortable and so cute! We had a great view of the night sky from the porch. It really felt like we were out in the country despite being just a few minutes from the town square. And the blueberry scones are amazing!

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and layout of the Eagles Nest. It was very cute and Michelle had thought of everything needed to make the stay great. We even walked in to fresh blueberry scones that were delicious. We will definitely stay again when back in the area

Wonderful stay in Decatur

We enjoyed our stay at the Eagle's Nest. The place was pristine. It had everything you need and a few extras like a delicious pumpkin bread and fresh eggs. The bed was comfortable which allowed us to enjoy a great night's sleep. The kids loved visiting with Maya the dog! Wie will stay again when visiting the area.

Perfect House!

My family and I have stayed at so many places all over the United States and this property was probably our most favorite! Super clean and comfortable! Perfect Couple Retreat

Our stay was for my husband's 64th birthday. It was the perfect place for a couple. Very comfy and clean. Michelle was on point with communication and directions prior to the trip. Treat yourself, and include a meal at Sweetie Pie's Ribeyes during your stay.

Our stay at this adorable place was wonderful! It was very comfortable, immaculately clean and very well appointed with first class details from the bedding on the bed, luxurious thick bath towels, to the coffee bar and scones! We had a great time at the Eagle's Nest. Our host, Michelle, was very accommodating and friendly. The property was clean and beautiful. The interior was immaculate. The tree carvings are amazing and Maya the Great Pyrenees welcomed us and escorted us to the front door :). We will definitely remember this place and return when we visit the LBJ Grasslands again! Thank you!

One of the biggest VRBOs we've stayed in. Very new, great interior design, comfotable, with everything you could need. Plus the blueberry scones were delicious! And the pool was a huge bonus, just right out the door. Will be back again soon.

You'll want to stay here!

My wife and I were more than pleased with the Eagle's Nest. Everything is first-class, neat, clean, organized (great little kitchen area), comfortable--everything we were looking for and more. Plus the property is outside of town so it's relatively quiet (occasional trucks and cars on the nearby highway, which is hidden well by trees). Very attentive hosts who were quick to respond to any of our inquiries. You'll love it here.

A great weekend getaway

This is really an amazing place. Some years back Susan and I started staying at VRBO places instead of hotels because most of the time you can get or find a good deal and typically out by itself. I'm not much of a social person so it works...lol. So we have stayed at quite a few VRBO's and i have to say this was the cleanest we've stayed at...not saying the others weren't clean but this one was just a little step above...we enjoyed our stay and this place was a big part of it.

Valentine Getaway

Wow! Michelle has absolutely thought of every single detail as a host. Her thoughtfulness is beyond expectations! We had homemade blueberry scones that were so yummy I would book again just to enjoy them! There were fresh farm eggs in the fridge and so many delicious tea and coffee options! I am particular on bedding and her selection was perfect. We were kindly allowed an early check in and this cute tree cabin was the perfect romantic getaway! We will definitely come back again!

Perfect place

This place is absolutely perfect. It is so cute inside and out. The house is exceptionally clean. The place looks like it should be in a magazine. I took pictures for ideas for my own house. The deck in the trees is serene with a sweet little table and chairs for coffee. The property managers were also perfect. They were incredibly helpful, kind and great communication. It is in a very beautiful area and very quiet. If I need to stay over in Decatur again this is where I’ll be.

Eagle’s Nest Retreat

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Eagle’s Nest property for a weekend getaway, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. The property itself was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The decor was stylish and modern, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning views from the property. Being able to relax on the balcony was truly a tranquil and peaceful setting that allowed us to relax and unwind. Also having a pool literally right next to us was amazing as well. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at this property for anyone looking for a unique and memorable vacation experience.
