Good if you are on a budget

The room was a bit dated, but it was comfortable and clean. The city centre location was ideal, although a little hard to find. It is close the tram stop and a short walk from the station. One of the staff also spoke good english. We were on a budget and as a result this hotel comfortably meet our needs.

A real gem.

This is a lovely, pristinely clean Pensione with an excellent English speaking, helpful desk clerk. We had a very good, cooked to order breakfast for a small additional fee.

Lille pensionat. Søde og rare væter. Renligt sted og fin beliggenhed i forhold til centrum. Byen er ikke en turistby og er præget af at være et meget lokalt sted

Pensjonat w centrum Debreczyna. Warunki dobre, chociaż cena wydaje się nieco za wysoka. Brak możliwości zapłaty kartą, można natomiast płacić w euro.

Wandering the world

I wanted a simple place to stay but not a hostel. The Stop Pension fitted my requirements perfectly. The staff could not be more helpful or friendly.

Preisgünsig im Zentrum von Debrecen.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Debrecen. Der Privatparkplatz ist schon schwer zu finden. Für ALLE die nach uns kommen: Nicht nach der Batthany Uca 18 (Fußgängerzone) suchen, sondern in die Sackgasse beider KOSSUTH UCTA NR. 25 (ECKE UNICREDIT BANK ) in die Sackgasse fahren. Rechts durch den Torbogen - fast am Ende der Straße auf der rechten Seite: 4 asphaltierte Stellplätze. Dann zu Fuß rechts in die Pension. Der überaus freudliche alte Herr ( mit einem Arm) heißt Janos, er spricht jedoch nur wenig englisch. Seine Frau ebenso, ebenfalls sehr nett. ( Eine wirkliche Freude macht man den Damen des älteren Semesters wenn man sie mir "Kesét csókolom" (Käset Tschokolom) [ Ich küsse Ihre Hand] begrüßt. Der Sohn, welcher meist den Abend- Nachtdienst verrichtet spricht einigermaßen deutsche Floskeln. Sehr angenem! Wo waren Sie heute, was sehen Sie sich heute an .... Peis Leistung für eine Zentrumsunterkunft - TOP! Komme gerne wieder.

až na tu snídani

Kromě neúměrně drahé a socialisticky nuzné snídaně vše v intencích penzionu. Dcera dostala čtyři minikousky sýra, hotelové máslo a jednu minivaničku marmelády, já V DEBRECENU (SIC!) jsem si objednal debrecínský párek, leč byl to spíše špekáček... Příště už jen bez snídaně. Až na tu snídani pension nezklamal.

Debrecens 'little gem'

Excellent location - 2 stops on tram and a 5 minute walk. Excellent check in service with John and found hotel provided everything that was stated on website. Will certainly return and possibly consider using Debrecen Airport rather than Budapest.

Достаточно чистый номер, приветливы персонал, за 3 дня постельное белье меняли 1 раз (были выходные), кровать коротковата (мой рост 190 см, ноги едва умещались по длине), подушка очень тонкая, как блин, в связи с чем плохо спалось. Отель расположен рядом с центром и недалеко от ж/д вокзала. Единственное неудобство - в 07:00 будит колокольня расположенного рядом собора св.Анны. Соотношение цена/качество вполне удовлетворительное.

You need a car to get there but it is pleasant and cozy place to stay. Our room was clean and tidy. Staff were helpful.
