"The Rose re-opened in May 2018 after a change of ownership and total re-vamp. It now has super chic and comfortable rooms, a great bar, wonderful breakfasts (I recommend the granola and steak and eggs) and top-notch service. It's right on the high street - surrounded by cool independent shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs, with plenty of parking a stone's throw away. I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else in Deal now. "

"Lovely location and site on the farm. Was a bit surprised at the small size of the Lodge itself but w made it ours and had a fantastic time! Great bbq table at the back and wonderful tour of the farm by Emma. Julian and family were also lovely."

"Host does not exist! Was let fíen at the last minute due to ‘unresponsive host’ looks like ghost property, promptly took my payment in booking, kept it for two months and ended up cancelling after me chasing to get access details. Avoid at all costs! "
