Bijou Cottage (Close to beach, train station & town)
The cute town of Deal is on the coast of Kent and on a clear day you can see neighbouring France (accessible by ferry or the channel tunnel) via Dover so a perfect stopover via Europe and London (accessible by A2 or M20). The beach, cafe’s, bars, restaurants & boutique shops are plentiful and all within walking distance from Bijou Cottage.
Bijou cottage was built in the 1800's for the local fishermen and is small but perfectly formed. Newly refurbished it's in a convenient location close to amenities and the beach. The path alongside the beach stretches all along the coast to Dover and Sandwich Bay for keen walkers. There are 3 castles and 4 golf courses nearby.
I supply electric & gas central heating and a log burner for cozy evenings in (logs provided for first fire only).
I also provide free internet, Wi-Fi and Freeview T.V.
There is a large fridge/freezer, microwave & washing machine. Towels & linen, an ironing board and iron are also supplied.
Please note that there is a £20 per night charge for use of the second bedroom. This will be charged/requested separately and will not show up in the reservation price (due to incompatibility with the platform).

Lovely weekend getaway
We had such a lovely stay at Bijou! Vanessa was so helpful and the cottage had so many beautiful touches to make it a real home from home. Fantastic location for enjoying both town and beach, with plenty of great food and drink options on the doorstep. Look forward to stayinb again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gorgeous cottage which is in easy reach of everything that wonderful Deal has to offer: the beach, quaint streets, restaurants and shops. Vanessa is a lovely host who made us feel so welcome and answered any queries promptly. Bijou cottage is definitely a home from home and we wished we could have stayed longer. Our first choice of accommodation when we are next in Deal.

Wir haben uns in Vanessas Cottage sehr wohl gefühlt. Vanessa ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt im Bijou Cottage auf jeden Fall weiter. Auch der Ort Deal hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben von hier viele schöne Ausflüge z.B. nach Canterbury, Dover Castle und London unternommen.

Fantastic Autumn break
We really enjoyed our stay at Bijou Cottage which was a comfortable and stylish house in the heart of the historic coastal town of Deal. It was great to be able to return to Bijou Cottage to relax after exploring the nearby castles, the coastal paths and the White Cliffs and enjoying the bars and restaurants in Deal.

Bijou cottage is located just a 2 minute walk from Deal town centre and the beach and furnished to a very high standard throughout. Ideal for 2/3 people and a great base from which to discover what Kent has to offer. Superb!
