"Spacious rooms with a stylish, spare, vibe. Good quality furnishings. Excellent beds/duvets. Multiple bars/restaurants with a useful self-serve shop at Reception. Wide open areas that don’t feel sparse but give you plenty of room to move around and good privacy even in public areas. Restaurant food Good, Breakfast food/choices excellent. Great Staff who are very polite and very helpful. No questions unanswered and no issues (1) unresolved. Everything taken care of. Systems (IT, Booking, Reservations and wi-if didn;t miss a beat. All correct and timely. Spa area - pool/gym - good. Will stay again when ever I’m n the area or passing through."

"I chose this hotel because it suited my travelling plans. I know a little about the area, people come to cycle and walk through the surrounding forests but I couldn't partake in any activities because I was in transit. The hotel has no lift, thought it shows a restaurant in the description I understood that there wasn't one at least during my stay. I arrived after 21:00hrs and minor confusion existed with the entry system but was sorted quickly. The rooms are big and clean, the beds comfortable, the shower was good. The breakfast was typically continental. Would I return there - yes!"

"It’s such a beautiful and relaxing place with everything you need for a great stay. The pool is lovely and the bike hire and tennis court are fantastic features to fill your time too. The restaurant food amazing and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. The accommodation is outstanding, spacious and modern with everything you need and more… the sauna was a great feature and well used by us… such beautiful houses in beautiful surroundings we couldn’t have possibly found anywhere better to stay!"

"The property was in very good condition, apart from a little bit of damaged woodwork in the ensuite. Everything was great, the staff, the reception, the food. My only input would be that in the ensuite there were not a glass for rinsing your mouth after brushing your teeth. Nor were there any in the bedroom, despite there being 2 bottles of water in the fridge."

"Staff was friendly and helpful. Responded to our needs very quickly. Was unaware our room had no air conditioning. It really should be noted so there is no disappointment and your rating will be imlroved with this knowledge. Also elevator was not working and walking up to second (with 0 being ground floor) was difficult for older guest (me!) with luggage. This should have been noted prior to check in even if it was temporary. Again best to expose than hide facts of stay."
