"This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. "

"Upon arrival, my booking could not be found for approximately 20 minutes which was inconvenient. The room was spacious (shared female dorm room for 6 people) but the beds had to be made ourselves and the mattresses were extremely thin so it was a hard surface to sleep on. There was extremely bad wifi at the room, it was too weak to load websites. The showers were warm and the bathroom facilities were generally good. "The staff were amazing - welcoming, friendly, can't fault them in any way. They made the stay that much better! Can be a little hard to find if you don't know where you're going, it's down a little street you wouldn't think there'd be a hostel. The place itself had a nice atmosphere to it and the dorm was perfectly fine with a locker to put your stuff in for the day/night. Clean bedding. Wish I'd stayed a bit longer!"

"Dragon hostel is quiet and clean with great access to the National Art Museum (NAMoC) and Beihei park. My room was simple, had good aircon, and a good bed. There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location."

"Such warm hospitality from the lovely Jerry and a gorgeous lounge with stunning views out over the city! Great location which is convenient to the airport, great wall tours and on the metro central loop line. There are lots of great restaurants near the station. "The hotel was pretty decent and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a bus station a few meters away and a subway station about 5 minutes from there. If you're used to the subways system, maneuvering Beijing won't be a problem. I easily located the Forbidden city. The rooms are quite clean and the bed I can't complain about. "This looks like a perfectly nice place, but, upon arriving (after midnight), I was told by the hotel staff that they do not accept foreigners. The staff were most helpful in directing me to a (much more expensive) hotel."

"Hello all, Due to china government policy, no cheap rooms for foreigners, the owner of this hotel was arrested my china police (Kongan) and this hotel facility was shut down few weeks ago. I was stranded on the street and the phone call was not answered. The previous employee of this hotel answered and she said that she didn't receive my payment and she is not working at this hotel anymore. Be aware of those cheap hostels in China. They are closed or scams to get your money. Thanks."

"Located in narrow alley which makes it hard for cars to go in and out. Aside from that, the place was clean, new, modern and service was good as well. The location is about 6 minutes walk from metro which made it good as well. There are nice pubs and cafes within walking distance in the area as well. "

"Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic."
