The property lost power due to a thunderstorm that passed through. Now I understand it's not the owner's fault for mother nature. It's not my fault either, we waited 4 hours for the power to return to no avail. With darkness, heat, fly's, and mosquitoes upon us and no information when the power was returning we decided to leave. I feel it was appropriate to refund some of the money for the stay (half/half) is fair in an unfortunate situation. However, the owner thought otherwise and rejected the refund petition. I was a disappointing outing to say the least. They lost me as a returning customer and maybe just maybe someone will read this and think otherwise as well, due to the properties lack of understanding.
