"Check in was simple & quick. Our room was immaculate. Shower very powerful, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion supplied. Tea and coffee downstairs to help ourselves to instead of in room which we were happy with. Saves waste. Staff friendly. Good, free wifi. Great stay."

"Location was perfect, probably the best location in Edinburgh, in the middle of Old Town and New Town and opposite station, walking distance to everything. Hotel was good and we had everything we needed. Friendly and helpful staff. I can definitely recommend this hotel."

"the hotel was good but I have issue with the fact that we arrived at 9.00 am and did not get our room until 3.00. I realize rooms have to be cleaned etc but please make accommodation for those international visitors who have travelled all night"

"great location and clean rooms. it was a little loud at times but that was to be expected with 5 festivals going on that week and this location being a hot spot for younger people to come and drink. that being said, some underage kids tried to sneak in by climbing through the windows and they mistakenly tried entering through the window in our room. in the middle of the night. very scary in the moment but no harm done and the staff apologize when we brought it up."
