Dauphin Island Condo

This condo was great! The chef in process was simple and hassle free, the place was super clean and the master bedroom was very comfortable. The bunk room provided plenty of room for my 3 kids and the whole place had a beautiful gulf view. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Comfy & relaxing

It was a nice place w a nice view. My granny and daddy went and enjoyed the condo and the views from the balcony more than they did the beach. This was our first time on the island itself and we found that our stay was relaxing and more laid back when compared to panama or gulf shores. We had issues with the tv hooking up and staff came and helped in a swift manner as well. We'll be back again

We enjoyed our stay. Location was great. Liked the area was less congested. First time using a vrbo so just wish we knew a few days ahead of time to bring extra toilet paper and those type of items. Now we know 😊

Beach trip

Nice location, perfect for a family with small children. Condo was spacious and the kitchen well stocked. The kids loved the bunk beds. Most of the unit was clean although the top of the refrigerator and ceiling fan blades were caked with dust and needed attention.

We Love the Inn.

We absolutely love DI. The Inn is in a great location. Property and pools are always clean. The condos all have balconies with great views of the Gulf. This particular condo was perfect for our family. The grandkids room had 2 separate bunk beds, a great TV, plenty of space for them to hang out in. The condo was very clean and cozy. We felt right at home. The Inn never disappoints. We are all ready planning for next year.

It was beautifully decorated and we were very comfortable. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable. Can't beat the view from the balcony. This is going to be out "go to" spot from now on.

Good but not great

The check in process was a little confusing, as I was emailed and texted multiple codes. One was for the gate, then a lock box, and the actual door. The amenities were clean but outdated and 2 of our lamps didn’t work. The sprayer for the sink didn’t work. We were only given 2 rolls of toilet paper and instructed to buy more if needed. The check out process was strenuous for paying high prices already: strip all beds and put a load to wash, clean and put away the dishes, take out the trash. It seemed a lot to do. I may pick another spot in the future. It did have ocean views, which were beautiful.

It was nice having two swimming pools with one being heated. The charcoal grills were nice to have access too. The only thing I wasn’t satisfied with was the access point to the beach the wooden pier wasn’t long enough and we had to walk through nasty water to get to the beach. It needed to be about 6-8 feet longer. The others around us were longer and they didn’t seem to have that problem. Other than that it was great. I definitely think this needs to be addressed Bc it was almost knee deep and I’m an adult. I can’t imagine if you had small children and trying to carry all your stuff and your kids.

Reviewer Comments: We love being on Dauphin Island, the peace and quiet, the beaches, the acquarium and bird sanctuary, the warm pool, the little shops, the welcome center, Skinners fish market, and the people who are so friendly, helpful and kind. However, the glass table top needs cleaning in the wooden edges, scratched pots/pans and cookie sheet need to be thrown away and replaced. A bathroom sink plug was missing. Bunkbed room ceiling light flickers and needs fixing.
