Absolutely filthy and terrible customer service

I had a terrible stay. It was my birthday and my birthday plans were cancelled and delayed due to lockdowns. I finally made it out of a remote community to celebrate my birthday and sadly this stay was a huge disappointment. The property is absolutely filthy. From the moment you walk in the floors are dirty with rubbish, dirt, leaves every where. The first room I was given was disgustingly the shower drain was clogged with black hair. There was hair all over the room and the floors had clearly not been cleaned. I wiped down the benches and my white cloth turned brown quickly. The bedsheets had not been changed. I called and asked for new sheets. The man was very rude and seemed very put out. He asked me to show him what I was let happy with and he told me he couldn’t see any problems. He then said this isn’t the ritz what we’re you expecting. He said he wouldn’t give me nw sheets but he would give me a new room. This room was even worse condition with the white sheets stained by what looked like blood. It was fairly late and I had birthday dinner plans and asked him for new sheets. He told me that I could go and find another place that is more to my high standards. I don’t expect much just cleanliness. He said what do u expect for $70 a night? I said I paid $120 and that I expected clean sheets at the very least. He gave me the sheets but he was a very very rude man. I would not stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

This property is basic but very clean and comfortable. Shared kitchen facilities available and a pool make this motel great value for money. Easy check in and handy location to sunday markets and city centre

The friendly helpful staff made our stay pleasant. The use of BBQ facilities was great. The pool good. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable. Location to City centre a winner especially being in a quiet location.

no hairdryer, no tissues, cockroach on floor, booked a cab from reception day before for the airport for early flight, asked twice if it would be there, was told would tell Dianne to book it, cab did not arrive by 5.45am when requested, luckily friends who were also staying there took us to the airport just in time for our flight.

This Motel is a bit remote if you don't have your own transport. Bathroom needs somewhere to put toiletries other than on the window ledge. Definitely needs a full time receptionist to inform guests of the sights, tours etc.
