"Lake Augusta cabins are a wonderful retreat perfectly situated. An hour from Minneapolis period period we stayed 3 different times this summer. Each time we've had more wonderful experiences and met new friends. Max It is an outstanding host! He's super responsive and enthusiastic, and he is constantly improving this charming and welcoming property! We are already planning our time there next year!!!"

"Karen's Kottage is Kute and Komfortable! Sweet, petite cottage with a retro feel throughout. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having fans in each bedroom for white noise. Everything was very clean and well-maintained. We were there in mid-September and the lake was very quiet as most summer traffic had died down already. Plenty of life jackets in a range of sizes as well as water toys and some water crafts to use. We had a bonfire one night and enjoyed coffee from the upper...

"The pictures do not do this place justice. We had a magical stay here on the lake. The view is absolutely stunning and there are windows everywhere you look. We used the kayaks and paddleboard as much as we could. There’s corn hole and other games and tons of outside seating to enjoy the view. Kids were occupied either fishing from the dock, enjoying the water, or playing in the game room. From the house you can see a nice sunrise and sunset and even see the reflection of the moon on the water....

"Overall: This property did exactly what it was meant to do- allow us to relax and enjoy eachothers company for a week! Cons of our stay though- The water is not swimmable, we had to travel to a near by lake to actually go swimming. The house did not include a table, so it was hard to play our card games. The kitchen included a breakfast bar with stools for eating meals but not great for playing games. The week that we stayed was the hottest of the year... no ones fault, just ended up that way....

"I stayed at this property with a group of girlfriends from all over the Midwest for a girl’s weekend. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out with lots of good sleeping and inside and outside hanging out spaces. The beds and couches were all perfect for sleeping and the provided bedding and towels were perfect. Large deck and open floor plan made meal times with a group seamless. We spent most of the day...

We chatted with each other in the spacious living room, we chatted with each each on the beautiful deck, we grilled, we laughed, we enjoyed the sunrise over the lake, I could go on and on. The owner of the property took good care of us keeping the place cleared from snow and informed of all the things to keep us cozy for our stay! Wonderful communication with everything. "My family of 4 and my sister-in-law's family of 5 stayed here over the weekend of Memorial Day and the property was perfect for us! We got out on the water with the kayaks and paddle boat, did some fishing off the dock, had a few bonfires (where there was enough seating for all), grilled, played outdoor games, and more! The inside space was enough for us to spread out. The location was perfect being in the woods and on a lake, yet close enough to go get additional food when the 5 kids had eaten...
