"We had a last minute change of plans and were able to secure this lovely property for a two night stay. It was a quiet and relaxing place to be. The kitchen was adequately stocked with spices and such. The hot tub was wonderful. Access to the river was easy - fun to go sit by the river and just watch the water rush by. Check in was easy. We were a little concerned about the gate, but that whole process was a breeze. All in all a perfect time. "

"This is such a charming cabin. In a town that is nestled in the midst of the cascades. The river rushing by right outside makes for a lovely dining ambiance if you crack a window open in the sunroom. And the view from the hot tub is just beautiful. Was a little bummed we weren't able to see the strawberry moon, was a little too cloudy and tucked behind a mountain. But with how beautiful the rest of the town and cabin was we didn't feel that bad about missing it. I 100% would recommend this place to anyone who is looking at Index and trying to decide where to stay. The host is great to deal with, very timely with his responses and even gives you tailored driving instructions depending on the rout you are coming from. "We had a wonderful stay at the Bush House Inn. The owners are welcoming, the food is fantastic, and the setting is surreal. We loved our expansive top floor suite with mountain views, a game room, and private bath. Everything was clean and comfortable. We’ll definitely return here next time we’re in the area. "

"We stayed 2 nights while exploring the North Cascades. It was surprisingly comfortable with unexpected amenities for a no-electric cabin. Battery/ gas mantle lights, refrigerator, stove, grill and fire pit were useful luxuries. The bed was comfortable and the surrounding area was fun to explore. An overall great experience and stay."

"This property is definitely at the top of the list for romantic getaways. The view is like a painting and the wildlife (birds, squirrels and deer) are plentiful. I stayed 2 nights here with my husband and it was perfect. We had all the amenities we needed and felt right at home almost instantly. The bed was comfortable as were the lounge chairs and sectional on the deck. Watching movies while in the hot tub was an added bonus. There are also amazing hikes nearby and great restaurants so you have the best of everything. You could also very easily just stay and relax in the cabin and be very happy. Our hosts were very respectful of our privacy and made sure we had everything we needed. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here. I am sure we will be back and have referred friends already."

"I wanted a quiet spot to reconnect with self and nature, and this place not disappoint. The scenery and river view were fantastic for meditation and day dreaming. The cabin was cozy and clean. The stair case up to the bed was a really tight squeeze, so I left most of my belongings downstairs. Bring wood to make a fire. I was fortunate enough somone left a few pieces behind. I look forward to returning again!"

"Staying on this property was one of the highlights of our week long trip to WA. The location is convenient for park access and the amenities do not disappoint!!! The outhouse is so comfortable that were going to miss going to the bathroom outside!! The host provided everything you need and more. The bed was spectacular. The property is one in a million! "

We were able to spend the days hiking in the North Cascades National Park and the evenings relaxing at the cabin in the hottub or exploring beautiful creek that runs behind it.
