"Woo…What a beautiful, peaceful place. We planned this trip since I have been sick for a while and we wanted to get my family together. I thought Strawberry was the most appropriate place since my mother, me, my children and a few of my grandchildren have spent our summer vacations there going back to 1925. So sharing the memories there is extra special. We were not disappointed. The cabin’s knotty pine interior was very cozy — just like the cabins my family had owned. The sound of the river right off the deck where we had family dinners was just perfect. There was also a smaller patio (still plenty large for 8 -10 people easily) that is just feet from the river where we would just sit, relax or read, I liked just watching and listening to the river. Our Old English Sheep dog was in heaven. We are already talking about another stay this Fall! "

"We had such a great trip! We were concerned about the amount of snow and the property manager was so helpful--the road to the house was plowed before we arrived and the house had everything we needed for an amazing long weekend in the snow! The kitchen was super well-equipped (there's even a high-end waffle maker!), the couches are super comfy and the home was large enough for our two families to spread out. Only one towel per person though so we did laundry and no shampoo or conditioner so BYO.. Overall highly recommend! "

"We greatly enjoyed the house and close proximity to Bear Valley Ski Resort. We have young kids so we needed a close place in the event we had meltdowns at the slopes and needed to go back early. This was perfect. Lots of space and outdoor areas to explore far enough away from the highway. It's a short hike up to the house but just reframe as a workout and it does the trick. We'll definitely stay here again."
