"The hotel itself is unique and I stayed in one of the nicest hotel after a long time. The room was like a cave in ancient times which was modernised according to standards.
The receptionist 'Berken' did receive me, and he was kind, and helpful. Because of language barrier it was difficult for me to rotate from one place to another but thanks to him that he did help me out of the box.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who loves rooftop views and drink Chai and wants to stay in peaceful...
"Ana Talia house is an absolute gem. Staff are all extremely friendly. The building itself is magical and atmospheric. It has an excellent location and the rooms are also wonderful. There is nothing to think about. Just book here and you'll have a fantastic time in Mardin. "
"Very nice location in central Mardin. The place had a beautiful view and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Mardin "
"Absolutely tremendous value for money. It's not the best place you'll find, but for the price, it was fantastic. Highly recommended if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place."
"Quaint old style dwelling with NO vehicle access. Be prepared to carry your bags up and down rough flights of stairs for over 600m from drop off point.
Minimal to no hot water.
Mattress on pallets.
Great views from terraces, if you can climb ladder stairs."
"Guy named Osman working in the property tried to rip me off , it’s a dirty place bed had dust from the wall looked like the mattress wasn’t clean bathroom is disgusting it’s just a terrible hotel would never recommend it . "
"The hotel has incredible views. Its medieval theme fits perfectly with Mardin's old city. The staff was lovely and made us feel very comfortable. Yusuf, the owner, helped us with everything. He offered us tea, organised trips for us and called a cheap taxi for coming back to the airport. All of this, with a constant smile. We 100% recommend this hotel while staying in Mardin."
"The property is at a convenient location, 5 minutes walk away from the Main Street. With parking available. Staff is extremely helpful & accommodating, providing an excellent service. Highly recommended for guests looking for a unique stay. As the rooms are very authentic with a variety of layouts to suits your needs. "
"A highly disappointing stay. The room was cramped with very thin walls, so lots of noise. Shower went cold but the worst was that after having to wait outside in the rain for the front door to be opened (they just locked up and went away), on phoning the owner, instead of being apologetic, she was extremely rude. Just don't go there. Plenty of much better places all around."

"The location was good, but there is no hotel parking and its diificult logistically.
Room is very small and not really comfortable
Staff bored and disinterested "
"My partner and I stayed in the king suite, Maridin Room. It was a gorgeously appointed room and the hammam themed barhroom was delightful! The real crowning jewel was the palatial terrace. We felt like royalty being able to relax out there looking over the Mesopotamian plains. The staff were very patient and helpful with us using translation apps, as neither of us spoke much Turkish or Kurdish. While few of them spoke any english, we got along without any trouble. They were very kind! I highly recommend staying here!"
