"Property was as described, older cottage and clean. In a very quiet neighborhood up the road from the National Park Sandstone Visitors Center. There was quite a bit of train activity, up to 6 passes in the middle of the night. We knew about it from other reviews and it didn’t really bother us. We woke up and fell back asleep. "

"As this was my first VBRO rental we had always stayed in hotels previously. I could not have had a better experience than this. The location is perfect to all the different sites to be visited in the area. Everything you could want and/or image you would need for a stay is available. "If you’re looking for off the beaten path, this is it! Very peaceful and lots of wildlife. Owners are on the property but you hardly ever see them. And when you do they are nothing but helpful & friendly. It’s a bit of a drive to some of the area parks and attractions but well worth it for the tranquility that this rental offers. "

We stayed here while exploring the New River Gorge and had a simple check in/ out process, stayed in a brand new cabin (so new there was still packaging materials on the lamps) and were even able to use the pool once. "Had a great time for the weekend visit. The cabin is very close to all the hiking trails & some dog-friendly eateries & breweries. We didn’t get to take advantage of the fire pit bc it was very hot the whole weekend, but the cabin stayed nice and cool, even without using the AC. We would definitely stay again if we come back"

We were sold already when the gentle horses came up to us to let us pet them when we arrived but the whole experience was lovely for my husband, 4-year-old, 9-month-old and dog and I.
